Diamonds Are Forever – Argyle Socks

$6.99

This pattern is a traditional Argyle design worked in a non-traditional manner. Rather than knitting the leg flat and seaming the leg and gusset, the sock is worked in the round with Annetarsia ITR technique. Instruction for this technique is found in “Annetarsia knits.

Description

This Dye House yarn is the softest I have ever used
successfully for an argyle sock. Generally, if knit tightly, the fabric is dense and stiff. This yarn can handle a tighter gauge and remain soft as a whisper. Knitting the sock with larger or smaller needles can be used to make the sock larger or smaller.

With 3 charts to choose from, and the ability to change sizes with yarn weight and needle size, the knitter will be able to knit socks to fit from childhood to adulthood, as argyles were always intended. I’m thrilled to offer this pattern for the modern knitter who also loves historical patterns.
