Being gone for 10 days means lots of work to do upon returning.  I’ve made it through the pile on my desk, and most of the e-mails.  Marcia Weinert sent me a couple of photos to share with you, from our day at Rhinebeck. The photo of the alpaca made me smile.

On the plane flight, I kept plugging away on the lace edging for the Rock Island shawl.  Long experience has taught me not to despair at the appearance of unblocked lace.  But this looks truly dreadful, right now!

58 out of 71 chart repeats achieved, looks like cat barf. Knitting lace takes a lot of faith.

The website hack has left scars on the website.  Thank goodness, visitors aren’t being re-directed anymore, but now the site statistics don’t work at all.  GoDaddy can’t help me with this one – it is a WordPress issue.  And, WordPress isn’t available by phone – just website documents which aren’t solving my issue.  This is frustrating, time-consuming, and I have other stuff to work on – so I am just going to trust that someone is reading this, for now.
