We were given lots of opportunities to see and enjoy the abundant wildlife in Alaska. We all took photos and enjoyed our shared experience, spotting animals in their natural habitats.
You aren’t allowed this close to whales out at sea, but this one swam between the ship and the pier! Everyone got a really close look, this was very exciting.

A grown Dall sheep. Those are horns, not antlers. They are not shed with the seasons, but grow with the animal. This fellow was walking alongside the road, and kindly posed for us.
