Happy Saturday!

I am relishing a quiet day.  Not that I haven’t been busy and productive, but I am home alone with the cats this weekend – and catching up on a few things.

Bold Move is progressing well.  The butterflies are happy, and not getting into tangles.  I have the MC isolated as much as possible in my new “Firefly” Slipped stitch studio bag. It’s a terrific bag, even if it doesn’t match the color scheme of my knitting – hmm, guess this means I need a blue knitting bag!  I took these two photos at the same time, in the same light, with my iPhone.  Look how gray the close-up photo looks! Strange.  The blue is the accurate color, I have no idea why that one photo is washed out!

The secret to my success is the snap thingie inside by Slipped Stitch Studio bag. This keeps the MC strand in place, and the ball secure.

The cats are very happy that SOMEONE is home.  Even if it is just me.  Bill usually feeds them, and they were very worried and suspicious that I would forget.  But I did not. They are being very affectionate with me, just in case.

Jasmine found a new box to chew.  Is she the only cat that does this?  She won’t chew just any old box.  Some cardboard is definitely better than others.

Does anyone else's cat do this? Or is it just mine?

I’m off, now, to have lunch with some knitting friends – always a treat!   I will also be getting handouts and samples ready for IK Knit Lab, which is next weekend.  Wow.  Right around the corner!
